Zimbabweans living in Mozambique should remain indoors until the political situation in the neighboring country stabilizes, Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Mozambique, Victor Matemadanda, said Thursday. The advisory follows protests by opposition supporters challenging the outcome of Mozambique’s Oct. 9 elections, in which the ruling Frelimo party secured another term. “My advice is that our people should stay indoors until the situation normalizes. They should keep away from the demonstrations,” Matemadanda said.
