Mduduzi Bacede Mabuza, a former Eswatini MP, lost his court bid to continue receiving takeaway meals while serving a 25-year prison sentence. Mabuza, who argued for a special diet due to health reasons, sought permission to have fast food delivered. The court dismissed the case, stating prison meals were mandatory for convicted inmates. Mabuza was sentenced in July 2024.
